Welcome to Hemmat Café: Your Cozy Retreat in the Heart of Ho Chi Minh City

Nestled in a charming alley at 189/B4 Đ. Cống Quỳnh, Phường Nguyễn Cư Trinh, Quận 1, Hemmat Café is not just another coffee shop; it’s an experience waiting to be discovered. Whether you're seeking a tranquil spot to work, a cozy nook to catch up with friends, or a haven for relaxation, Hemmat Café caters perfectly to your needs.

The ambiance strikes a beautiful balance between spaciousness and intimacy. Large tables offer ample room for gatherings, while cozy corners invite you to settle down with a good book or your laptop. Customers rave about the relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both small and big groups, making it an ideal venue for chitchats or productive study sessions. A popular highlight is the café's two signature seats, which exude charm but can often be hard to snag during peak hours.

As for the menu, while it may not feature a wide array of hot dishes during the evening, such as the much-anticipated noodles, the drink selection dazzles. Patrons have enjoyed a variety of refreshing beverages that embody the essence of Vietnamese café culture. One customer noted that while the drinks were enjoyable, they seemed a touch pricier than usual for the region. However, this small caveat does not overshadow the overall dining experience.

In addition to beverages, the café also offers unique activities. Engage your creativity with paintable pictures available for sale, providing a perfect way to unwind and channel your artistic side while sipping your drink. Whether you opt for a chill session solo or a lively gathering with friends, Hemmat Café's inviting space works like magic.

User reviews convey a blend of delightful experiences. Maik M describes the café as “[a] pretty relaxing place with a lot of room,” while Nhan Nguyen appreciates its suitability for various group sizes, even hinting that it is budget-friendly overall. Eddie Wan echoes this sentiment by saying it's perfect for chilling alone or with friends, emphasizing the café's appeal for those looking to relax.

On a more personal note, while most reviews laud the café's cozy vibe and food quality, some have pointed out that the staff can be somewhat reserved. However, this shyness does not detract from the warm and inviting atmosphere the café embodies. After all, every coffee shop has its own unique personality, and Hemmat Café thrives in creating a welcoming environment.

With its inviting ambiance, reasonable pricing, artistic offerings, and laid-back charm, Hemmat Café stands out as a must-visit in Ho Chi Minh City. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or looking to spend a leisurely afternoon, you'll find this hidden gem a delightful addition to your local explorations.

Happened to stumble upon this one cafe, we found it pretty relaxing with a lot of room to either work or chill with friends. Drinks are okay. Budget friendly menu

Spacious place for chit chat from small to big group. Suitable for working and studying as well. There are 2 signature seats but mostly occupied. They also sell pictures to paint to kill time. Reasonable price. Food is great as well. Staff is not so friendly.

Unfortunately not serving any hot food at 6pm which was a shame as we were hungry and wanted to try the noodles! But the drinks were very nice - seemed expensive for Vietnam though Staff were friendly but shy

Coffee is good and also the place is cute but they don’t have much food, only some dim sum (it was very good though). They don’t have banh Minh as in some pictures here

Tucked away in an alley, the Hemmat cafe is easy to find thanks to some signs at the start of the hem. The menu is interesting, especially with the food/desserts. The milk tea was nicely done. Bit surprised it came in a take away cup. The snack was well liked too.
